HP N240 replace or fixable?

My HP N240 1080p monitor just started doing this, except for the green artefacting. (Not my video but the problem is alomost exactly the same except for the green lines)

 

Have been using that display since july last year and have zero issues. Suddenly it did this today (did not hit/touch anything and I was using the pc for a bit before it started happening).

 

The display shows grey lines for a second, then the full gray begins to spread then display fades out for a second then back to normal. This started happening every few seconds to thepoint it became regular.

 

To narrow down the problem, I powered on the monitor without connecting to or even turning on my desktop pc, and it still happened where the display shows that 'no display connected', so it is definitely not the software or gpu.

 

I have a 3 year warranty, should I just send it to be replaced?
