Hey,

I'm wanting to get some a gen 4 SSD to go in my new 570x board. So far i've only seen the Aorus and Corsair SSD's, I normally like to wait a month or two to see what others come out with but so far haven't seen much news!

Should I go ahead and get one of these, or wait another month and see what others bring to the table?

probably not the real lachlan? as of right now from my understanding all the x4 SSD's use the same controller, and personally i don't expect that to change for a while, and besides, they are stupidly fast as it is. i think you would be fine to get what is already out

There's also the prediction that once current stock runs out were going to get a huge price hike on NAND due to the power cut fiasco.  So probably best NOT to wait too long.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)

Who's to say if I'm the real Lachlan or not? who is the real Lachlan 0.o

I recalled reading an article that mentioned throughput on newer Gen 4 SSD's but can't seem to find the article. Guess I'll go with either or!

Thanks :)
