Was thinking on getting a i7 2600 to replace or should it be good to wait till others to drop in price and get a different board/ram as well? I’m certain that I won’t be getting into 4K gaming res anytime soon. I mean 1080 is still pretty good. Btw please don’t be to hard on me because of my specs, after all I did get everything for under 300 Usd, lets just say I don’t have a lot of money...

If you can I would wait for new components to grab. A lot of people are upgrading to the new Ryzen gen 3 so there will be a lot of discounted hardware all over the place.

However, the upgrade to the i7 2600 would not be a bad upgrade. The build would be able to do 1080p60 fine.

Yes and no.... but 2-3 years down the line I would be looking to completely revamp my system with newer parts.

One reason for me getting the i7 is the 8 thread. But yea I might be switching to Ryzen since I’ve seen good things on them
