Video rendering using Integrated Graphics

Go to solution Solved by vanished,

In theory both should be possible, it's just a matter of what the software supports.  If not already present, you will need to install drivers for both GPUs though, as well as potentially flip a BIOS setting to enable the iGPU despite the presence of a dGPU.

Hi there, I do a lot of video rendering using my Ryzen 5 2400G in Blender. My build also has a dedicated GTX 750 Ti in which my display is plugged in. I am curious to know if I can ask Blender to use the integrated Vega Graphics to accelerate rendering while I use the 750 ti for normal use, or can I plug in my display to the Vega Graphics and ask Blender to use CUDA acceleration for rendering. I need answers for both of the above cases. Thanks in advance.

I think you can... Well, at least in this theory.

Go to all settings, at the Display, scroll to the down until you see "Graphic settings"

5. Once done, click on the program, choose option

6. Select the options you want to run. You can see I have 2 graphic cards, so I can select one.

PS: I've only tested out on laptops. I'm not sure if it works on desktop.
