EXTREMELY annoying Nvidia ShadowPlay problem

I've been having a problem with the Nvidia Shadowplay screen recorder lately. The finished recording freezes about ten seconds into it (not the audio, it keeps going), rendering the rest of the video useless. I've tried playing the files in other programs (VLC, windows moviemaker, Sony Vegas Pro) and all show the same thing, so It's definitely a video file problem.  Video is fine for about 10 seconds, then it freezes. Once in a while the video will start playing normally a few seconds before the end (big deal). Here's an example:
