I left home for two months and when I got back my rig decided to not work anymore I guess. I got home and booted everything up only to have it shut down for seemingly no reason. It did that a second time while I was downloading a Siege update, but the really weird crash was when I got in a game and started playing. It was my second game (the first I played 4 rounds on) and in the 4th round the entire computer froze. It would freeze for several seconds, then run for less than a second, then freeze again. This went on for several minutes. Not just the game, but also the task manager which I was keeping an eye on, as well as the screen when I ctrl+alt+delete in an attempt to close out the game which I thought was messing everything up. Haven't turned it on since I had to hard shutdown. I don't know much about computers at all, I just like the videos, so kids gloves are appreciated tbh.

My rig consist of:

Asus Strix Z270F

i7 7700

EVGA GTX 1080 FTW

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB)

Corsair CX Series 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze

Samsung 650 Evo

I've been using it for almost 2 years now with no problems, and nothing has really changed. Only addition I made yesterday was plugging in a Audioquest Dragonfly Red. Any ideas on where to start looking for the issue?
