Pi PoE solutions

So I've been fooling around with a couple Raspberry Pi's 3B+ and I want to run them off my PoE switch I bought a PoE hat and works great but it then makes my case unusable has anyone had experience with those rj45 / power plug adapters to run your Pi on seems like a much better solution when housing your Pi in a case. I have one with active cooling and one with passive cooling would just like to keep them in a case
