Minecraft shader gpu compatibility

Do I need an rtx card to use shaders in minecraft or can I download the shaders and use it on a 5700 xt if I wanted?

You can use shaders without RTX. There’s even mods to use them on Minecraft PE.

Shaders were out before RTX I ran them with my 770 back in the day, looking to get an 5700 XT when the AIB cards come out.
