I am looking to overclock my Ryzen 5 2600 CPU on my ASUS Tuf B450m motherboard. As of now I only have my stock cooler and my case is masterbox q300l, so about 157mm clearance for an air cooler. I hear Noctua is a very good brand so maybe a preference there. So what is the best air cooler I should get?

What ram are you using?

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

The 2600 is pretty easy to cool and it's easy to get an overkill cooler but that's not necessarily a bad idea if you plan to upgrade to a beefier cpu later on.

I am using 2 8gb Corsair Vengeance LPX, probably Amazon or Newegg and something less than $100

Which region are you located in? Both Newegg and Amazon ship internationally.

FYI, you can fit coolers up to 160mm since that's the height of the DR3 and you can see that fitting here: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/xbcYcf

If you just want something that works for oc'ing, the Gammax 400 is good: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hJFPxr/deepcool-cpu-cooler-gammaxx400

If you want something beefier for a future upgrade, lower noise, or a less plain heatsink look, the Ninja 5 is better: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dZ3H99/scythe-ninja-5-430-cfm-cpu-cooler-scnj-5000
