Remote isnt working

Yeah,.so, I have a.universal remote, the blaxkweb 6 device universal remote. It's not connecting to my Roku tv, no matter if I program it over and over again (It's right program btw, ive used it before this happened), and if I take out the batteries and put it back in it doesn't work. I can't.use the Roku app as a remote bc my tv is set to wired but my phone isn't and they need same wifi to connect, and.i can't change wifi bc I have no remote. What can I do?
