Well there is your problem. If you ambient temperature in your home is 35c. That would most definitely make your CPU run hotter than normal.

Hello, i have a i7 8700 (non-k) and i used to have a hyper TX3 EVO on it but it wasnt keeping it cool enough to hit the 4.3 GHZ mark so i bought a Thermaltake ring silent 12 pro for it which is a 170 tdp part cpu cooler but the temps are worse now before they would go to about 68c on gaming load or 70c on full load now after the new cooler installation its like 70c on gaming load and reaches almost to 80c under full load. ihave tried almost everything like > reapplying thermal paste, reinstalling the cooler, checked the airflow of the case even left the front panel open but it just doesnt seem to work. HELP!

Clean paste, reapply and reseat and tighten screws a lot just enough before the motherboard chips.  If bad temps again then just stick with what you had.  70's c load is fine.

What is your ambient temperature. If it is warm where you live and inside your home it is like 80f. That could impact how hot your CPU runs.

But 70-80c is nothing to really worry about, it does seem a little high though.

tell me about it.

I lived in the Philippines and the temps here at worse its 40~42C with some area hits 45C.

anyways, as long as your CPU dont hit that 85-90C temps, you're still fine. till you decided to replace your rig.

ha!

R5 1600, OC's to 3.9ghz @ 1.35v and My rig is chilling around 41-52C on idle while 76-82 C during stress test.

my room is not Aircon cooled. just fan assisted air circulation.

my CPU cooler is the Cryorig H5 Ultimate when i perma OC'd my PC to 3.9ghz.

and i was mostly gaming on it so it's not THAT bad on temps on actual usage.

Nice. My 8600K is at 4.5 with 1.185v. It doesn't go over 50c in games, and with prime95 the hottest it ever got was 69c.

Gotta have them low temperatures!
