1440p suggestion

I am in the process of buying a new config for gaming and was wondering what kind of monitor for around 500€ would be my best choice.

I'm focusing on gaming so I'd like a 144hz monitor.

What do you recommend?

1440p @ ultra should do like 150ish fps, 16:9 should be fine

On High maybe.  Ultra would depend on game.  

 

I mean if you're buying a $1200+ GPU, pair it with a $700-$800 monitor.

I'll have a look, I can go for an 800€ monitor, I won't go past 1K tho.

Should be some great 1440p 120Hz UW's in that range.

For the moment I have a few monitors in mind :

ASUS ROG Swift PG279QZ

Aorus AD27QD

 

Honestly, in my case, I think a 144hz with good colours and good resolution is more important than an UW curved display.

Ok, the PG279QZ seems to be a good monitor but I've seen mixed reviews so I don't know.

If you have any other idea, feel free to post them

I am looking for a 27 or 30 ish monitor, no need for UW or curved, just want a nice IPS panel with gsync and 144hz or maybe I should go down to 1080p but I feel like it's dumb with a config like that.

These are good freesync solution but I think at that price point the extra 100 bucks for g sync are worth it

I found these two, which one would be the best choice compared to the other :

AOC AG271QC or the MSI MAG271CR

You could use a Dell 1440p monitor. I love mine - I have the S2719DGF and it works great with G-sync. Little on the lower end of cost, but still fantastic!
