Power throttling causing fps drops.

I have an Asus fx 504 with a i5 8300H which power throttles to 25W, while playing games such as Fortnite, my laptop freezes for a few seconds and then turns back to normal. This is  extremely annoying since i have also requested RMA and received my laptop back from it, i am unable to play the game competitively since it is just not motivating anymore. Does anyone have a fix or advise me on how to get a replacement? I still have the warranty since i bought it last year.

Do you have the intel extreme tuning utility?  You can check power throttling while under load with that.
