Gaming laptop?

So I've recently started saving for a laptop, I'd rather get one because I don't stay in one place and often have to move in between places and would like a laptop that can suit my needs. 

My price max price range is around 1000$(USD)

I personally don't care how good it is, but if it can run my games of choice and be a general use laptop. It will be fine by me

 

Games include, ARK, PUBG among indie titles and valve games 

 

Looking for any suggestions.

From midwest, I'd prefer a slim laptop, battery life would be a plus but I'd sacrafice battery over performance.
