So first off i have Z390 Aorus Pro mother board and a Cooler Master Lite 5 case. I am looking where to install he power sw wire and reset sw wire. They are for the power button and reset, also the HD LED and two wires connected to the power sw wire with a plus and minus sign. I tried plugging them into the area labeled "F Panel" but it didn't turn on. I made sure to correlate the arrows on the wires with the plus signs on the mother board. Am i plugging them in in the complete wrong area? Am i just plugging them in on the wrong spots? If anyone can help it is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Can you supply any pictures?

Look very closely at your motherboard by the F_Panel headers, there should be a small label that looks like this:

Spoiler

image.thumb.png.c3df97fd86747b7b334a6b6e3550c38f.png

The top line of text there denotes the top row of pins and what they're for, along with positive and negative. Ditto for the second line of text and bottom row of pins.

I figured it out and plugged them all in but after turning on the computer it turns off by itself after 12 seconds then it turns back on. I only have the 24 pin in and the cpu pin. Along with the ram and hard drives connected. (also i figured the computer doesn't turn on with my ssd in it so i guess its broken?)

Alright. Pull all your memory out except for one, leave it in the primary DIMM slot(usually labeled DDR4_1 or DIMM_A1).

No GPU, no storage; just the CPU, motherboard, and one stick of memory. See if it powers on.

It’s with the new one. Well it’s not new but it’s the one that I used after you told me to try a different one.

Do you have another motherboard and CPU available to test with?

Yea with the old mother board and old cpu.

So it's most likely a problem with your new motherboard and/or CPU.
