First of all apologies as I know this topic will already be on here but I cannot find it and it may be a good idea to get more modern information.

I am currently looking for a new monitor which will mainly be used for editing photos and some videos (no gaming at all really). I am just not sure where to look and what is good for what price. I understand I’ll be looking at a high resolution, HDR, colour accurate display, which preferably has FALD, but honestly don’t know much about monitors. My budget is around £1000 $1100 (US).

I currently have a HP Envy monitor which is okay but I’ve found the black levels are disappointing so Thank you in advance.
