Hi all,

I'm in the market for purchasing GDP pocket 2 but I was curious what the main differences were between model from 2018 and the amber black version. I understand they use different processors but what impact could this potentially have on the device's performance?

I'm rather lacking in computer expertise, so I would greatly appreciate any potential insight or resources I could use to educate myself.

Than you!

the black looks like it preform better at single threaded workloads.

if you are going to play games like half-life 2 or the OG portal, then extra GHZ it brings would benefit you in the CPU area

if you are playing more multi-threaded games like minecraft, then the non-black one would be good.

Sorry to ask, but what is the difference between single and multi threaded? I'm going to use it as a fun computer for managing files for photoshoots and videos on the go. I don't really plan to edit pictures on it unless its absolutely nessecary. Worst case scenario minecraft is aalso a guilty pleasure that I play from time to time. How would single or multi threaded impact these tasks?
