Thats around what I have going for me in the build so far. I’m entirely new to the PC side of gaming so I’m not sure if these are good picks. So let’s start with the “needs”

Needs to be running:

destiny 2 forsaken (graphics aren’t a big deal to me, just need a solid 60-70fps)

windows 10 64 bit home edition

Logitech c922 webcam

OBS

Google chrome (maybe two windows open for my twitch chat etc etc)

2 monitors (Asus 248QE & 247HP)

At2020 USB microphone

Hyper Cloud Alpha headset

Miscellaneous usage:

While I’m not gaming I’ll be using video editing software to upload game clips and guides.

Sum it up:

Is this good for a $1400 price point? Again, I’m very very new to PC so overclocking has me baffled and I just have a stock Corsair cooling fan. Couldn’t find it on the part list though. Any help is appreciated!

Thank you very much!

It would probably be a better idea to spend your money on a gaming rig, then build an entire new computer separately for streaming exclusively. As it will ease off all the stress on your system.

My Rig:

CPU: Intel i5 2500k 4 Cores, 4 Threads @ 4.5ghz ( asus uefi regulates BIOS and adjusts it, there is no manual option, so I can't get any higher than 4.5, but I theoretically should be able to get higher once I get a voltage "changeable" mobo

MOBO: Asus P8Z68 LE

RAM: Kingston HyperX Predator 2133mhz ddr3 2x8 16GB

GPU: GTX 980 TI 150+ core, 100-150 ( I forgot )+ mem ( OC )

HDD: 500GB 3D MLC Samsung SSD ( soon ) + 2tb 7200rpm Seagate Constellation ES.2 SAS / LSI MegaRaid MR Raid/SAS Controller

CASE: Phanteks P350X

OS: Windows 10 64-bit / Void Linux

PERIPHERALS: IBM Model M 1984, Logitech G703 Mouse, Logitech G502 Mouse, Philips SHP9500 w/ V-Moda Boom Pro hooked up to my Sony AMP ( forgot model name, to lazy to find out )

Laptop: Gateway P-7805u FX

CPU: 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2c/2t

RAM: 8GB DDR2 1066mhz sodimm

GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS

HDD: 320GB 7200rpm hard drive 2.5"

SSD: Kingston A400 250GB SSD

SCREEN: Glossy 16:9 1440x900

OS: Windows XP SP3 / Ubuntu 19.04

PERIPHERALSLogitech G Pro

That’s what I was afraid of....maybe a cheap laptop for that? Also I’d need a capture card right?

No, no, no. You don't need a separate system. That's exactly what the Ryzen 2700/x is for! It lets you play your games AND stream at once without compromise. You'll still get 60+ FPS in the games you play with good streaming quality.

So upgrade the CPU to a 2700x?  Or is the 2700 going to do the job?

I put the 2700/x, meaning the 2700 or the 2700x. If you aren't going to overclock at all, the 2700x will perform better by a wider margin out of the box. If you do overclock, the 2700 will come close to the 2700x, but the 2700x is binned a little better and will likely get an extra 100MHz in performance overall, possibly 150MHz if you get lucky.
