I'm making a PC and I'm trying to make sure I have everything on my list of buying things that I need to build this PC. Tell me if I dont need some parts or if I am paying too little for something. I'm in the us, and I have no budget just trying to play a lot of games with good fps with the monitor I have.

I mean you could save a ton of money on the build, other than that you can get a windows 10 key on ebay for like $10 or less, and I'd get some other headset, like a steel series V2.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Pretty good build.

You don/'t need the Grizzly thermal compound, the NH-D15 comes with a tube of Noctua thermal compound.

I doubt the need for three extra fans, bringing the total to five. But they shouldn't hurt.

Everyone has slightly different part preferences. The principal parts you have selected are decent quality and pcpartpicker insures one doesn't accidentally overspend on the choices.

I doubt you will use much of the tool set. Usually a Phillips #2 is all that is needed.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I would get the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 just for the aesthetics. Pretty evenly matched in performance/noise.

You won't see any difference in real world usage between the Samsung 860 EVO and an NVMe SSD if you are just gaming or for general usage. The Adata SX6000 Pro 1TB is priced pretty well though if you want an NVMe SSD.

Overpay for ssd. Get a corsair mp510 for 130$, 5x faster, longer TBW, longer warranty, the works.

Link for 1tb MP510 for $130? On Amazon it's $210, his linked SSD is $148. They're both 5 year warranties.

Edit; found it for $120 on Newegg, but I'd still put my money with Samsung

As a regular consumer not running a server farm or constantly saving and deleting massive 8k footage files, I seriously doubt he'll surpass the 600 TBW for the Samsung warranty. Opposed to the "Endurance" number of 1,700 TBW that Corsair gives.

Has another source actually tested and verified this 1,700 TBW claim? Or is it just Corsairs number they give for marketing.

Samsung has been in the memory game a lot longer than Corsair, I'd put my money with Samsung over Corsair.

It's warranty length.

Corsair is basically Phison E12+ Toshiba 64L TLC, rebranded. Both of those are long-time flash manufacturers

Like saying Ford is much older than lamborghini, therefore lambo is shit, even when its cheaper.

Litterally a true fanboy.

OP: ADATA has options too, so does HP.
