Posted May 25, 2019 I was thinking of performing fresh install of Windows 10 as a service. I'm not scared of Windows Activation but instead I'm scared of drivers. I know how to install Windows 10, Just that from past experience, the OEM knows best and I don't. For example, power plans. Any advise? Posted May 30, 2019 Author @GeneXiS_X Like on my old Satellite L745, I couldn't get Optimus to work which really hindered usabiltiy (power consumption, heat output). Like I'm concern that I will not be able to identify a model in the case that Windows 10 cannot find drivers automatically. Like prehaps the OEM would have a more optimised driver than the vendor provided one or the one Windows 10 automatically detects.
