Hey guys,

Does write speed really matter on an SSD? I was looking at the 830 and the 840 and the 830 has a 320 MB/s sequential write speed vs. the 840's 130 MB/s. I know the 830 is also MLC and has a cache, but it is more expensive so I can not decide. Which one would you buy, the 840 for 90 USD or the 830 for 112 USD?

The 830 is considered by many to be better but rly you won t see the difference between the 2 in day to day usage.

The difference between ssd and hdd will blow you away no matter which ssd you get.

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.
