I would go with the Team L5 Lite 3D. (btw above tier list isn't mine)

Crucial BX500

dramless = no bueno

Hey guys,

I'm asking for suggestion/advice for an SSD (on the cheap). The system (Compaq Prebuilt from ~'07) supports only SATA II and is needed to replace the dying mechanical drive.

I was looking at the following:

1. Kingston A400 (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820242399) - 29.99 + 0.99 Shipping

2. Crucial BX500 (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820156186) -  30.99 + Free Shipping

3. Team Group L5 Lite 3D (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820331047) - 27.99 + 2.99 Shipping

4. Team Group GX1 (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820331317) - 22.99 + 2.99 Shipping

I'm leaning towards #4, since it is the cheapest and the system only supports SATA II anyways. Only thing holding me back is that it has no reviews and I'm wondering whether I should just spend 5$ more to get a Kingston/Crucial).

Which would you pick?
