Hi guys. It has been 6 years since I bought my PC so I needed an upgrade. Order has been placed and the PC is in building stage. Have I made a bad decision not going for a 2080TI . Please let me know what you think.

Regards

some others should be cheaper than that

850 or 750 is enough

i9 9900k is very overkill for most things, especially gaming, i'd go for cheaper CPU and the other things people above are recommending and then getting a 2080 ti if you want the most fps in games, it's alright the way it is for productivity, except some parts are a little bit overkill and won't make a huge difference

At current pricing, the Ti costs at the least 30% more.

The performance from what I've seen is a 20-25% increase.

So really the question of value falls to you.

I'd personally like to see the performance higher than the cost before I'd look at it.

If this is a gaming-centered PC you're getting, I'd suggest turning the CPU down a notch (get i7-9700k) and turning the GPU up a notch (get 2080 Ti).
