Golden rx 470?

Hi, I'm new to overclocking and suspect I've either got very lucky or done something wrong. I've got a combined overclock and undervolt on my rx 470 of 1350 mhz at 1000 mv. From what I've seen on other posts, I've either got exceedingly lucky or I'm incompetent and haven't actually applied the overclock.

 

Gpu-z is showing fluctuations in voltage between 985 and 1015 which makes me think it's applied the undervolt but then why is it moving at all?

you seeing a performance increase? Did you do a baseline reading and compare to your current OC?

It's definitely overclocking, I can see it in gpu-z. It's just that voltage seems so low compared to other people.

i can get 1450-1465 at stock voltages...

and 2065 memclck

 

but i have a 570, and its stock voltages are 1.1-1.15.

But does the clock speed remain consistent under stress and also deliver more performance? Btw, what 470 model u got?

Yes it's very solid and shows no sign of power or thermal throttling.

 

I'm not entirely sure what model I have because it's supposedly an xfx overclock edition 8gb model but I can't find it on xfx's product page and it seems to have an rx 570 shroud. I'll link where I bought it from:

The thing that's confusing me is that the gpu seems to jump around as much as 50 mv either side of my set value. Is this normal?

Curious, that is the 570 RS cooler, but your card is listed as a 470? If that was a 470 model that had a cooler swap, I guess it all worked out for the best
