LF Daily Driver

Hi forum.

Like the title suggests I'm looking for an update to my daily driver. I've got a pretty short list of requirements, but I'm honestly in the open ocean at this point and have no idea what to get.
 

• Sleekness
  • That cool factor. Something thin, with a good screen and the 'backpack appeal', something along the lines of Alex's surface pro seems to fit the bill really nicely.
• Battery life
  • I'm usually near an outlet, so something like 6-8 hours is completely fine. 
• Use Case
  • I'll be using this laptop mostly for note taking during meetings, very limited work in Unity and Blender and conference communication (Slack, Skype and so on). I'm a student finishing up my masters degree and will be transfering from 'dat college life to a more professional scene in less than a year, so something subtle would also be appreciated.

So to refresh; Sleek and thin, battery doesn't matter and something that can pull most standard application without much lag. And a great keyboard is a HUGE plus, since I will be taking so many notes with this thing it's not even funny.

Budget is around 6-700 USD.

Are you from US? Any preference on display size and weight? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradable RAM?

I'm from Europe, display size can be anything from 11-15, as long as it retains portability. sRGB is fine, but not preferable, and non upgradable ram is also fine.

Higher sRGB = more vibrant colours from display panel. So you're fine with low sRGB?

Yeah, I'm from Denmark. You can look on sites such as Komplett.dk or Elgiganten.dk. Budget is 4500 Danish Crowns.

So you're fine with short battery life? Prefer regular laptop/Ultrabook or gaming/performance laptop?
