Hey guys, My H100i arrived yesterday, and i installed it along with my 1 year old i5 3570k expecting to get nice temps, right now it's running at 40 Deegres Celcius(idle), and when stress testing almost 60.. This can't be right, it's not even OCed. I have a theory; In CLink it says that H100i is 26 Deegres Celcius, whilst the CPU is 40.. Maybe the thermal paste is bad? (I use the stock)

I have installed it in top, with the fans(stock) as intake.

I also have the prodigy (m-ITX) Obviously this is a hot case, seeing almost a double in deegres(GPU) from my last case(500R)

Anyways, thanks for help! :)

I wouldn't recommend delidding your CPU unless you are really picky on temps. If done wrong, you will ruin the CPU. Are you sure it's seated properly? Where have you plugged in the Pump?

All these Abbreviations makes me not understand, lol

Anyways, i don't want to do anything that actually can make me harm my computer..

I took another picture, so you guys can understand more. I know the tubes are twisted, but there is no kink..

EDIT:The picture is rotated for some reason, MB is laying flat.

It looks like there is something in between the block and the CPU? Looks like some metal sheet? Or is just me? Not really experienced with this cooler.

Mine does 33c on idle and 60 on load... but it's freaking loud at 60 lol

But you have it Clocked it to 5.0Ghz according to your Signature ;) Mine wont go over 60Deegres on load either, but what confuses me is that H100i is 31 deegres whilst the CPU 60..

I think it's the mounting bracket, but maybe i should take a closer look..

Seems wierd. I would disassemble it and check the manual just to be sure.

It was the copper(metal) plate that the thermal paste is attatched to.

Ah, okay ;)

ummm yeah, is that an Indgo TIM kit? did you do a seat-in procedure for that TIM

solution. i believe your supposed to get the CPU up to 90° for 5min to get the TIM

to liquify and flow. sounds like the TIM isn't transferring the heat properly.

i'd remove that TIM solution and use something a bit less high-tech like MX4 or NT-H1

cause you deffo having a mounting/TIM issue.

Thanks :) Im gonna order the NT-H1 today, and i'll hopefully have better temps :D

So you have the fans on top of the radiator blowing down into the radiator? Shouldn't those fans be flipped around? It seems like you would just be blowing the warm air that's rising from the radiator, right back into the radiator.

it is almost a margin of error call in temperature differences using 3°-4° air temperature

difference from intake air and interior case air. your device temperatures might fluctuate,

but coolant temperatures will not be effected.

Doesn't Corsiar link show coolant temps? You sure you aren't mixing up them up. Because your coolant temps will be much lower then your CPU temp. Also I recommend putting on you own thermal paste. I got high temps when I put mine on the first time. When I took off the cooler the thermal paste wasn't even on the cpu at all. When I put my own paste everything ran fine. I don't use Corsair Link at all. That software never worked right and doesn't work at all on Windows 8.1

I'm gonna reseat it when i get my TIM, yes im using CLink :)

As i said, the CPU is 60 at load, whilst the H100i is 30, but it should be more even i guess. I definitely think it's a bad connection between CPU and TIM :)

And thank you guys for the help, i'll update you guys as soon as i get the TIM :)
