Moderators and forum enthusiast alike, welcome to my desperate need for help! I had built a computer a month ago. Ever since its assembly its been stuttering, sudden lags of image and sound. I've done everything you , yes you can think of. From updating drivers to complete wipes(4 times) to BIOS updates to uninstalling software and what have you! The PC's info is attached along with this desperate call for help. XMP 1 is enabled, no overclocking done on the system. Windows 10 64 bit as of today is fully updated. I understand that there is probably another post just like mine with the same problem that i havent found on this site and i do apologise for a repost. So if anyone with an idea of that this could be please direct message me on steam my id is p4ndyx95 (before this post is deleted).

Thank you for your time!

Well, when nothing in software can fix an issue, that usually suggests an issue with none other than the hardware. Considering the nature of the issues, I'd suppose something to do with your CPU, motherboard, or RAM. Get all of those RMA'd if you still can and I'd bet that you won't have any issues. Depending on the board, one potential cause would be VRM throttling, so if you want to test a bit before getting them replaced (Or can't get them replaced), try undervolting/underclocking the CPU and see what success that brings, and consider what kind of airflow you have around your motherboard's VRM. Also, for sake of knowing exactly what's going on here, does the stuttering only happen during light tasks or intensive ones as well? Another thing to try could be undervolting the RAM--basically just try to do everything you can to be 100% certain that everything should be completely stable.

Thank you for responding. i have a tiny little fan that i was suppose to put on top of the motherboard which came with the motherboard. but i have 2 140mm fans at the front and 3 120 fans for the AIO pump pushing air into the system through the AIO. Im not faimiliar with the term RMA? The answer to your question. it dosent matter what im doing, the stuttering is ever present!

It's VRM throttling, then. You need to install that fan and I imagine you won't have any issues. RMA means "Return To Manufacturer".
