Hello everyone,

I just wanted to tell you that this forum and videos helped me a lot with the selection of the parts. Thank you very much!

A apologize if something will be not clear, I´m not a native english speaker.

I will receive the last items tomorrow.

I´m building my first PC:

MSI 2080 Gaming X trio

MSI z390 Gaming pro carbon

I7 9700k

Corsair RMi Series RM850i

Corsair H115i Platinum RGB

Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 XMP 2.0 8GBx2

Sharkoon TG5 case

I´m planning to overclock the CPU (maybe 4.7-4.8 if possible)

My question is regarding the air flow. In sharkoon I cannot mount the H115i on the top (motherboard and case dimensions). I have to mount the water cooler in front. Sharkoon case will be delivered with 4 120mm fans.

I was thinking to place all 4 fans (3top 1 behind) as exhaust and the 2 corsair (140mm) fans + radiator as intake in front. Do you think it is the optimal setup? I don´t know if the fans from the cooler are strong enough, should I remove 1/2 exhaust fans from the top?

Thank you in advance for your help!

I think you will have to experiment some. You can try that configuration and check your temps with something like HWMonitor. You might also try removing the middle fan from the top and reversing the top fan closest to the front so that it is now an intake fan.

I wouldn't mount any fans in the top. The two 140mm intakes on the radiator and single 120mm exhaust should be sufficient to move air through the case.

Whatever you decide, keep in mind the general rule of thumb for good airflow: front and bottom intake, top and rear exhaust.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
