Laptop BSOD

JSSCANUCKS

So my dad's laptop has recently been getting the BSOD. It usually crashes when he is leaves his laptop to do something else and after 10 minutes or so, it BSOD. The Laptop says BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER and on more tech info it's has a code that says STOP: 0X000000FE (0X0000000000000008,0X0000000000000006,0X0000000000000006,0XFFFFFA80078B5000) The laptop is a HP Pavilion g6. Any help would be great.

Try using driver sweeper, then reinstall usb drivers.

I would just reinstall windows.

Run sfc /scannow in Command prompt, and does he have a USB host controller? If so some program could be interfering with the host USB controller.  If he uses a laptop there should be preinstalled crap on it, if theres a utility by the manufacturer on there open it and see if there are any alerts or any updates for things like the BIOS.  And just to be sure run a scan with Malwarebytes if you haven't already and see if theres any nasty stuff on there.
