Hardware Advice - Wireless adaptor

I'm moving my PC to another part of my house and that area has thicker walls and I cannot used a wired connection, any advice on what adaptor I should buy to maintain speeds good enough to play games online without dropping too many frames? Nothing competitive now, just casual online gaming. I would be doing a good big of downloading from that PC too actually

If you have good stable power, you should try Powerline adapters to get Ethernet connection. I would never recommend gaming over wireless, competitive or not.
