Hey,

I spent a couple hours this morning creating the extension. I've never made one before and it was pretty fun!

I've published it on the marketplace too! (Its called 'WhatFile')

The README has what you need to set in your settings.

It was surprisingly easy to write this, it was more of a challenge to upload it :D

If you wanna write an extension I'd recommend looking at: https://code.visualstudio.com/api/get-started/your-first-extension

Hello,

I am looking for a VSCode (Visual Studio Code) extension that can output what I am doing to a text file or something that OBS can read so I can put whatever file I am coding onto my stream. I have looked around and can't find any extension matching what I need so I have come to the talented LTT community to see whether someone can make one. I would make one myself but I don't have experience with VSCode extensions and I haven't got the time. I only mainly want the name of the file that I am editing so I can put it on my overlay in a media source.

Can't see what you come up with.

Many Thanks,

Ben
