Hello everyone!
I have here an Asus N550JK-CN149H with a bit of a problem.
I originally thought it was the screen cable, so I bought a replacement, it wasn't the fault.
I then replaced the LCD, thinking it was the screen, still wasn't the fault.
I then noticed that there was still activity on the LCD, just no backlight.
I then took out the motherboard, turned her over to see... some serious corrosion on the back of the 30-pin display connector (top left corner).
What little part do I need here? I really don't want to replace the board as they are pretty expensive, considering if this little part is only like $10-$20.
Great laptop, would hate to see it in the bin.
