Upgrade to athlon ii x4 760k orFX

Hey I was wondering if I should keep my fm2 board and upgrade to from a A4 5300 to a athlon ii x4 760k or go with a whole new mobo and CPU and go for the FX line. I want to also have the flexibility in the future for a new GPU maybe ( 760 or 780 )

If you are getting a GTX 760, then 750K. If you are getting a GTX 780, then get a FX 8320.

it would be ok with a high overclock but a 280x would run much better with an 8 core.
