Nvidia G-SYNC Compatibility

Go to solution Solved by Ganimoth,

In theory you should set it lower as on 200 fps gsync will not work. In reality you probably dont need to care if your frame-rate is in within 100 range

Just remember if you will be playing some other, less demanding game, you might see tearing while over 144fps, if vsync in DRIVERS is set OFF.

Hello everyone ☺️☺️

I have Samsung CFG70 Curved monitor and i installed the latest Nvidia Driver to test G-SYNC Compatibility on my monitor , i enabled it from Nvidia control panel and i turned the freesync on in monitor ..............

Soooooo after that should i turn the v-sync on in the game or leave it off ??????

Ans what setting else should i do with G-SYNC Compatible.

Thanks To All ??

Turn off V-Sync in games. Note that Gsync will be active only within your refresh rate, 144hz if I am not mistaken.. Gsync might start to act unrealiable when you get very close to 144fps and it will turn off when you will reach 144fps. Depending on what you have set up in nvidia drivers, vsync will be automatically enabled (with its increased input lag), or there wont be any sync at all and you will get tear lines. Think about it as fallback option, gsync will get activated again when you get under 144hz. You might want to use ingame frame limiter (if game has one), or Riva Tuner Statistics Server to lock fps under 144fps. I use 138 frame limit on mine 144hz freesync monitor to ensure I never get out of gsync range.

I'm playing battlefield v on High and my frames is 80 to 100fps , and I set limit refresh rate to 200 in game option , is that good ????
