I don't have the "Projecting to this PC" option in my settings (Settings > System > Projecting to this PC) or in action center

I tried to enable it with GP(group policy) and RE(registry editor), but it didn't work.

My PC has a wi-fi+bluetooth card (intel 9260), which supports miracast. Why is the option missing then? Same for my laptop, I'm not sure about its adapter number, its a broadcom one, but also supports miracast. For some reason I don't get the "Projecting to this PC" option on either one. The PC is on LTSC 1809 and the laptop is on LTSB 1607 if that matters, also drivers are up-to-date, I've tried reinstalling them already.

I've tried everything I found to make sure my devices support projecting to wireless display:

netsh wlan show drivers -  Wireless Display Supported: Yes (Graphics Driver: Yes, Wi-Fi Driver: Yes) on both of them.

dxdiag - Miracast: Available, with HDCP

Could that be problem of LTSB/C?

It could be but it is not completely clear. Usually, these builds are for enterprise customers like businesses and schools where the bosses are bulk buying licenses for staff and in cases Students. If you have this but it is not a business pc, I would try to get a normal copy of windows and try that. If it is a business pc, talk to your system admin to find out what the issue is.

May I ask what it is specifically trying to do or why you need to use the function? That could help narrow down options.

I'm trying to use my laptop as a second monitor. Also its not business pc, its mine, I just got these versions.. somewhere... because they don't have useless things(for me) like store, cortana, etc.

Most of the answers that are on google are fixes that you have already done. I would try to go to Microsoft Tech Support into the Live Chat so you can troubleshoot this together. They are generally good with that. It might just be a glitch in your copy of windows. If you can back up your stuff try reinstalling either the copy you have or an OEM/Standard Windows build. If you can't use the sfc /scanow command in cmd admin. That will check for corrupt installation files in windows and fix them. Maybe that will help.

I'm too lazy to reinstall windows and I doubt MS will help me, considering how I got these versions of windows.
