Hey, people

So, today I was having issues with my usb to micro-usb cord I use to connect my XB controller to my pc for Rocket League. I guess I know now that maybe it's just my controller's problem, but I was messing around trying to get it to work properly (its been disconnecting randomly when moved around) and disabled the controller in "device manager." Now my biggest problem is that it doesn't show up in device manager for me to enable it again.

Any tips from you knowledgeable doods would be great!

Thanks.

Have you tried connecting it through Bluetooth? It should work with Bluetooth if it is a newer controller (I have the phantom black and a standard XB1 S White controller and they both work fine over Bluetooth). I'm pretty sure older ones like the ones that released before the Xbox One S came out will not work with PC Wireless without the adaptor.

Do you have an idea of how I could re-enable it as a device?

Not really, for me when i had the issue years ago I just tossed it out and bought a ps4 controller instead.

From what i hear, it's simply the hardware inside going crap

No, it's an older controller. It worked fine other than disconnecting randomly at times. I am just wondering how to re-enable a device that I disabled in device manager. It won't show up in the manager anymore :(
