Help with mobo cable

Any idea what this cable is in my pc I’m re building my pc which I have changed the mobo cpu and cooler and I’m going insane it’s my first build and I can not figure out where cables go I took pics from old board but it’s a completely different layout. Please see the cable I’m talking about and my mobo

That's a 4pin molex cable for power and is probably from your psu. It's used to power things that use a 4pin molex cable for power. It doesn't connect to your motherboard.

From the looks of it you're just about set up, you can likely ignore that molex connector unless you spot something it goes into, otherwise your motherboard isn't gonna need it.

Haha yeah just spent another hour finding some screws 6 hours to change mobo cpu and cooler safe to say I’m not quitting my day job to build Pc”s

Both the motherboard and the cables themselves should have labels, pwr, res, led, etc.

 

LEDs have + and - terminals, buttons don't, so you can't plug buttons in backwards.

Download the motherboard manual, it shows exactly where they go.  Or look on the motherboard itself, the pins are marked and the words are on the motherboard itself.

 

The other side of those connectors on your finger has the letters identifying what they are.

Yeah they do nearly there just stuck installing  the h150i pro saying I need to plug it into a sata power plug

You said SATA power plug, look on the PSU and it's cables...

Yeah, it's the same plug that goes into Hard Drives and SSDs, etc.
