to the best of my knowledge, you won't be able to buy a cable with that connector(maybe some type of JST variant) to a type C connector, you will have to splice it together and make it work, and also identify which wire is power, ground, and signal(s) and properly put the pieces back together. Not impossible, but not sure it will be as clean as what you are intending to do.

OP would need to get a 5 pin JST connector and then solder the wires to a USB C header that they can mount inside the case of the keyboard.

Yeah, definitely exists as an option, but im not sure the cable will still be 'removable', depends on the hole in the keyboard casing. I dont think it will be big enough to fit a female USB C connector port in it, but OP will have to take a look and maybe do some measuring. If the connectors don't fit through the hole, they arent really removable lol

True, I've done a few Micro USB cable mods not a USB C mod for a keyboard yet. Might be able to file out the opening to the a usable size if the OP feels brave enough.
