Hi There.

Please help me.

I have 2 monitors LG 25UM58-P(both with HDMI1 and HDM2 each one, only HDMI) Ultrawide with 2560X1080.

My video card it`s an RX 580 8GB with 1 HDMI and 3X Displayport, with official driver and beta driver tested for the RX 580.

Running on Windows 10 X64 1809, Version 17763.437

I bought an adpter DisplayPort to HDMI(compatible with 2560X1600, higher than the display) to input the second monitor, but the problem is...

the 1st monitor shows Recommended resolution of 2560X1080, this one it`s right.

the 2nd one only shows Recommended 1920X1080, and don't enable use a superior resolution like 2560X1080.

I tried changing the HDMI, inverter cables, change HDMI of the monitor to HDMI1 or HDMI2, many things and nothing work.

I want to know if it`s a windows problem or what, why I am not allowed to use a primary monitor at 2560X1080 and extended a second one at 2560X1080.

This may be a limitation of the DisplayPort adapter. Which one did you get?

The website doesn't seem to mention anything that it's actually capable of. It says what DP is capable of, but that's meaningless.

Show it capable of runs at 2560X1600 Resolution, the second display its 2560X1080, "Com relação aos aspectos técnicos, o DisplayPort oferece mais banda que o DVI, suportando a transmissão de até 8.64 gigabits (2.16 gigabits por par, com o uso de até 4 pares), o que permite o uso de resoluções de até 2560×1600 (com 60 Hz) e refresh-rates mais altos, de até 120 Hz, em resoluções mais baixas."

I am thinking the problem is the adapter too, Can anyone show me one adapter of cable(Displayport to HDMI) that certainly will work to solve my problem

I ran that through Google and it sounds like it's talking more about what DP is capable of compared to DVI, but not what the adapter itself is.

As long as the adapter says it supports HDMI 1.4 or 2.0, then it should be able to output 2560x1080.
