Password protected, synchronized drive options?

Hi,

I was wondering if I can somehow achieve what I want on two Windows PCs

PC1 and PC2 both have logical disk partition D and E respectively

PC1 has PC2s disk E mapped as a network drive.

I want PC1 disk D and PC2 disk E always synchronized (backup)

I want disk E on PC2 to require password to access it from Windows, but keep being synchronized even if password is not provided.

Anyone knows how would I go on about doing that? Doesn't necessarily need to be the whole disk, just a folder would do.

Originally I wanted to throw in encryption as well but I think that would really complicate things.
