Moved Hard Drive from USB to Internal now partition is gone

AMSG

hi Everyone,

i was using an internal hard drive on a usb external adaptor to transfer data.

then when i plugged in the drive directly to the computer 8TB

it now shows as 2TB as GPT Protective Partition and 5.4TB as unallocated.

anyway i can restore and recovery my data or why did this happen in the first place?

For data recovery I like EaseUs:

Not sure why it would happen? What happens if you reconnect it as an external unit?

Thanks, i ended up using MiniTool Power as it can also recover unmounted disk.

Have a great day!
