Im trying to make a mini itx build with a budget of 500-550 USD, i made this but does anyone have any suggestions or any comments on how i can improve it or add and make it better without adding too much cost? i made it keeping in mind the price of a windows key. Small modifications, you definitely need some dual channel and no doubt an SSD, plus you don't have to pay for windows, you can use it for free.

better list

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

The APU is not great for a future GPU upgrade, as the integrated graphics will go to waste and the CPU side is not that strong.

So why not go for the sexy real small form factor here?

You should avoid using single channel memory on ryzen platform especially for APU.

Also, whats the point of using APU with a dedicated gpu?

the 2200G is only $10 more than the 1200, the iGPU helps if he needs to diagnose problems with his rig. having a single stick makes it easier for him to upgrade to 16gb in the future.

Take a look at how single channel memory would impact the performance on an APU

If I'm gonna get a dedicated gpu I'll choose r3 1300x instead.

Except i placed an rx 570 in the build, i'm not telling him to use the iGPU for games.
