Windows 8 Boot issue

I have yet to upgrade to 8.1 but when I boot occasionally my motherboard bios screen will show on both of my monitors but nothing appears on my main monitor (expecting the login screen for Windows 8) after that. However I can actually see my cursor when I move it to my secondary monitor but it gets "flashy" I guess. When I just hit the restart button on my computer it boots normally. I was just curious if there was a way to solve this so I don't have to restart everytime.
