VHD File restore

Hi guys.

I backed up my files from the previous computer, and my external hard drive got this file called VHD that is 162gb. Now, I want to restore this to my new computer. New OS is installed to my new computer already, and all I need to restore are the files such as music files, documents and all that. Please help!
