MSI Mystic Light - Change Sensitivity of Music Mode

It usually works pretty well, except with metal which makes it stay at around 90-100% because the music is constant rather than up and down like most other types of music.  
However, some songs that have a lot of bass, regardless of their actual loudness, will also keep the lights at 90-100% and it bugs the hell out of me.  
I want to see them hit 100 with the bass of course, but then I want them to drop back down to the actual music's level rather than sit there.  
Does anyone know of a way to edit the sensitivity?  
3rd party software, registry changes, whatever works.
