I'm fairly new to overclocking but I recently build a PC with an AMD 2600 with the hopes of overclocking. I changed the multiplier to 38X and the voltage to 1.3V. These are the only changes I've made in BIOS. I wanted to test this before going up to 4GHz and the cinebench score i got was about 8 points lower than it was at at stock. Could I need more voltage going to the CPU? Do I need to change anything else?

Be careful with the voltage, Steve at GamersNexus showed that voltage going to the cpu can be higher than the voltage specified or shown in software https://youtu.be/iQB7ELwBbVI

I checked that video out, thanks for the link. I ended up boosting it up to 4.0GHz and dropping the voltage down to 1.2125V and everythings seems stable. Thanks for the help!
