Hello!

So i've used a old HP SFF 6000 Pro for a server (simple tasks eg sharing drives and CCTV) and the graphics started act really strange so i put this down to the IGPU and ordered a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 to fix it but that has done absolutely nothing in-fact its became worse and the system has became even more unstable. Another strange thing is it only happens when connected to my 1440p display via DP when its connected to an old 900p display over a DP to VGA that monitor seams to be fine.

Also to note since this issue started to happen the system started to have really loud coil whine.

I've tested with only one ram stick, reseated GPU, Changed monitor wires, reseated CPU all with no luck so i'm pretty stuck atm.

Heres a video of it happening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpzma_Zekjg

Any ideas appreciated,

Cheers,

Jacob.

First remove the gpu and run it via the onboard to eliminate variables seeing as you dont need the gpu.

does the onboard gpu run the 900p monitor just fine?

the IGPU was the reason i got the new GPU,

just tested it and yes the 900p is fine on the IGPU, setting the res lower on the 1440p does nothing tho
