NAS streaming Question

So I want to buy a NAS for streaming media from my home network to my tv. I want to get a Synology ds214. What equipment would I need to stream content to my tv? (I only have a chromecast)

Hi jecho,
currently the DSM (Version: 4.3-3810 Update 4), doesn't support Chromecast.
But the Version 5 of the DiskStation Manager, which was showed at CES 2014, will support streaming directly via Chromecast.
I would recommend waiting a few weeks (if it's not to urgent).
And if the day comes, just update your DSM, download the DS Video app and you should be ready to go.
