a display cable problem

first of all i dont know if this is the right forum ok.

so i was wandering around my local retailers for a dvi-d cable for my new graphics card, didnt seem to find any or if i did it was extremely ridicilous pricing.

but then i stumbled across a cable where HDMI is on the one end and DVI-D on the other end. would a cable like that work?

Yeah, this would work. What's the use case for your DVI-D?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Oh then yeah, any old transfer cable will do. A cable with built in HDMI to DVI works.
