NVIDIA driver update?

Been looking at other forums and still didn't find the answer to this small issue. I have a GTX 1070, been updating the driver till the RTX launch. So as of now I have driver ver. 417.35. I think this is before the RTX drivers were rolling out. The question now is, is it worth keep updating the driver? I'm still playing the latest games tho such as FC:New Dawn, Metro:Exodus and AC 7: Skies Unknown. As of now the driver update is at 419.17 and its for Anthem and BF V. Should I keep updating my driver to the latest or not? Also should I update my driver based on the game for the driver I'm playing i.e the game mentioned above ?
